Annual Communicator’s Summit
Each year, the Tulsa chapters of IABC and the Public Relations Society of America team up to present a half-day conference on the latest trends and topics in communications. Past events have featured nationally known speakers sharing stories and strategies on topics including crisis communications, media relations, social media and working with the C-suite, to name a few.
Annual Gift of Communication
As our “gift” to the community, IABC/Tulsa coordinates an event offering local nonprofit agencies a free, private half-day session with communications professionals. This event allows IABC members and others to share their expertise with community charities to help them achieve excellence in communications throughout the coming year. We get as much out of this as the agencies!
Bronze Quill Awards
These awards recognize outstanding employee communications, public relations, media relations, community relations, government affairs and marketing communication efforts. The Tulsa Chapter’s awards are open to all communicators – members and non-members alike – in the corporate, nonprofit, advertising, marketing and government sectors. Network with and celebrate the top communicators from around the region at the awards ceremony held each spring.
